Polarmoss Flex Element moss wall panels are made of hand-picked and colored high-quality reindeer moss. Panels are easy to install and look as good on large surfaces as on a few panel decorations. Polarmos Flex Elements can be installed on straight and curved surfaces.

Polarmoss Flex Element is leading the way of moss walls around the world. It is handmade using only the best reindeer moss and colored with our decades long expertise. Flex Element is maintenance-free, flame-retarding and sound-absorbing. Flex Element can also act as an indicator of good air humidity.

Material

The base layer material is bendable felt. The surface is sustainably handpicked and skilfully colored high-quality reindeer moss (cladonia stellaris).

Installation

Flex Elements are super easy to install and rearrange quickly. The velcro fastener tape installation method makes it simple for installing even onto large surfaces and arranging the elements again and again. The flexible quality of the material adds more possibilities to install even on curved surfaces, and to be cut into wanted shape or pattern. Flex Element is installed with velcro (sold separately), screws, staples, adhesive tape or glue (not included in the sales package). The best installation method depends on the material the Flex Element would be placed into. We recommend to carefully consider the installation method before installing. Polarmoss cannot be held responsible of any damage to surfaces caused by installation of Flex Elements.

Maintenance

Only gentle dusting with dust brush or gentle vacuum cleaning is needed every once in a while. When the room air humidity is below 40%, the moss may get hard, but it softens again when the air humidity increases.
